Company: Hoonsun Cable Gland Fair Time: 2025.10.15-19
Address: China Import and Export Fair Complex
The China Import and Export Fair, commonly known as the Canton Fair, is a major trade event held twice a year in Guangzhou, China. It was first held in 1957 and is organised by the China Foreign Trade Centre. The fair is one of the largest and most comprehensive trade exhibitions in the world, showcasing a wide range of products, including electronics, textiles, machinery, consumer goods, and more.
Hoonsun Cable Gland is a leading Chinese manufacturer specializing in the design and production of high-quality connectors and electronic components. Established in 2006, the company has built a strong reputation for delivering reliable and innovative connection solutions across industries such as telecommunications, automotive, industrial machinery, and consumer electronics.
Over the years, Hoonsun has partnered with well-known companies including Yutong Bus, Xiangtan Electromechanical, Philips, OPPLE, and ABB. Guided by the principle that quality drives growth, the company strictly follows ISO9001 and IATF16949 quality management standards.
In 2010, Hoonsun secured its first patent for cable connectors, and in 2011 contributed to China’s first aircraft carrier, Liaoning, where its product quality earned official recognition. Since 2021, Hoonsun has obtained CE, RoHS, REACH, TUV, ATEX, and IP68 certifications, with new utility patents ensuring products achieve IP68 waterproof protection.
Function:
Establishing and Disconnecting the Coolant Circulation Path
1. Connected: When the male and female connectors are mated, they form a continuous, sealed flow path, allowing coolant to flow smoothly from one component (e.g., a Cooling Distribution Unit (CDU)) to another component requiring heat dissipation (e.g., a server, GPU, battery pack, etc.), and back again.
2, Disconnected: The connectors can automatically or manually seal the flow path at both ends, preventing coolant leakage when disconnected. This is crucial for system maintenance, replacement, or upgrades.
Environmental Sealing and Protection
This is key to ensuring the long-term stable operation of the connector and preventing the intrusion of harmful external substances.
Waterproofing: Absolutely prevents the intrusion of moisture and humidity along the cable interior or from the connector exterior. Moisture is the primary cause of cable insulation degradation and breakdown.
Moisture-Proofing: Prevents the ingress of moisture from the air.
Dust-Proofing: Prevents the accumulation of dust, especially conductive dust, which can cause short circuits or creepage.
Corrosion-Proofing: Prevents damage to the connector’s internal metal connectors and cable insulation from corrosive media such as chemical gases and liquids.
Implementation: A multi-stage sealing structure is employed, typically including:
Primary Seal: A rubber stress cone or integral prefabricated rubber insulator adheres tightly to the cable insulation surface, providing primary insulation and seal.
Port Seal: Sealing putty, sealing tape, or a rubber ring is tightly wrapped around the cable jacket.
Housing Seal: O-rings or rubber gaskets are used at the connector housing to ensure a sealed seal.
Marine cable glands are cable entry and protection devices designed specifically for harsh marine environments. They provide safe, reliable, and durable seals at the connections between cables and equipment such as control boxes, switchboards, lighting fixtures, and communications equipment.
Their core mission is to ensure the integrity and reliability of a vessel’s power, control, instrumentation, and communications systems under a variety of harsh conditions, such as constant vibration, salt spray corrosion, moisture, oil contamination, and extreme temperatures. They are critical components for safe navigation and operation.
